Established by accident in 1998 West Coast Cottages is a small, local, independent family run holiday letting agency
With 30 years’ previous experience in the Scottish Hospitality Industry and started when the family bought their first property, Pitstruan, an alluring property perched on the water’s edge of Loch Feochan with fantastic sea views, nestled in the serenity of Lerags Glen yet within a few miles of the bustling town of Oban, “The Gateway to the Isles”
Following on from the success of Pitstruan Cottage, other property owners in the area asked Colin to market and or manage their properties at times when they weren’t able to.
Over the years this arrangement turned out to be very successful and West Coast Cottages quickly grew to the thriving business it is today.
After procuring the luxury town centre apartment, Argyll Mansions, overlooking Oban Bay ‘The Gateway to The Isles’ and more recently the incredibly positioned
Colin retired in 2016 in order to focus on other projects passing the business to his daughter, Gemma - giving her the opportunity to take over the running of West Coast Cottages
With a brand-new look, a focus on Customer Service, three absolutely stunning new properties and a clear vision moving forward the future
We know all of our cottages like the back of our hand and we can answer all of your queries.
We are always on hand should you need us and because we are family run you will always have one of us to speak to.
Of course, we do hope that you will return to stay with us again but our absolute priority is for you to enjoy your time whilst here and for you to leave fully recharged.

Our cottages are all based within 30 minutes drive of Oban Town Centre. Upon receipt of final payment you will receive an information pack, which will contain the full postcode for the property and directions on how to find it.
