A charming countryside cottage set in the peaceful rural surroundings of Lerags Glen, just 10 minutes from Oban. Surrounded by rolling hills and wide-open skies, it offers a perfect balance of scenic Highland beauty and easy access to local amenities—ideal for both relaxation and adventure.

Recently renovated, the property features a spacious dining and lounge area, where large windows frame the stunning landscape and fill the space with natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Step through the patio doors from the lounge and you’ll find a luxe outdoor area complete with a wood fired hot tub and outdoor hot/cold bath—perfect for soaking while taking in views down Lerags Glen towards Loch Feochan. There’s also a panoramic window wood fired sauna, along with a refreshing cold-water soaking bucket outside for the full spa experience.

Penlarch comfortably sleeps 7-8 guests across four bedrooms, including a master with en-suite and a separate family bathroom. The home also includes a generous utility room—ideal after a day outdoors, with plenty of space to store jackets, kick off muddy boots, and dry off pets.

Just a 15-minute walk away, you’ll find the Barn Bar, offering hearty pub meals, with scenic walks continuing on toward the loch.

Although the property is private and secluded within its grounds, larger groups or families can also book nearby accommodations such as Saltspring Lodge & Blacksheep cottage allowing everyone to stay close while still enjoying their own space to unwind at the end of the day.

Nov - March: short breaks anyday arrival (Except Christmas & New year)
